PMP Exam Prep with a Personal 1-to-1 Assistant
The Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI is one of the most recognised project management credentials in the world. It tests how you lead people, run predictive, agile and hybrid projects, and connect delivery to business value.
FoxyCert offers PMP exam prep coaching built around a personal 1-to-1 assistant on Telegram. You study, you practise, you sit your own exam, and we support you with every service included until you pass.
What is the PMP certification and who is it for?
The PMP is awarded by the Project Management Institute (PMI) to experienced practitioners who can demonstrate both education and real project leadership. It suits project managers, programme coordinators, delivery leads, product owners moving into broader delivery roles and consultants who want a globally portable credential.
Employers often list PMP certification in job adverts because it signals a shared vocabulary, a structured approach to risk and stakeholders, and a commitment to continuing professional development through PDUs.
PMP exam format and domains
The exam has long been a computer-based test of around 180 questions over roughly 230 minutes, with multiple-choice, multiple-response, matching, hotspot and fill-in-the-blank items. It is organised into three domains:
- People – leading and supporting the team
- Process – the technical side of delivering a project
- Business Environment – strategy, compliance and value
PMI introduced an updated PMP Examination Content Outline in 2026 that rebalances these domains and places more weight on business environment and value. Question counts, timings and weightings can change, so always confirm the current outline and the PMP Certification Handbook on the PMI website before you book.
PMP eligibility requirements
At the time of writing, PMI requires 35 contact hours of project management education (or an active CAPM) plus documented experience leading projects:
- a four-year degree and 36 months of experience leading projects within the past eight years, or
- a secondary diploma and 60 months of experience within the past eight years.
PMI also offers a pathway for graduates of accredited degree programmes. Your application may be selected for audit, so keep evidence of your hours. Requirements and fees are updated from time to time; the official handbook is the final word.
How to prepare: a practical PMP study plan
Most candidates study for 8–12 weeks alongside a full-time job. A sensible plan looks like this:
- Weeks 1–2: read the exam outline, complete your 35 hours and map your weak areas.
- Weeks 3–6: work through the PMBOK Guide, the Process Groups practice guide and the Agile Practice Guide, focusing on mindset rather than memorising inputs and outputs.
- Weeks 7–9: answer situational questions daily and review every explanation, especially the ones you got right by guessing.
- Weeks 10–12: sit full-length timed mock exams, refine pacing and revise weak domains.
